The name is a fact!

Thanks you girls for all your suggestions!

Crina is the winner of the challenge because she suggested ‘Fallen Petals’. I like that, there’s a certain romance and drama in it and it goes great with the colors of the paperpack.

Congratulations, Crina! You will be receiving an email with a downloadlink shortly!

I also have a first and second runner up, I also liked the suggestions of:

Krisje: Maraquesh Marvel (I completely see the vision you’re talking about! But I would definately use something yellowish-orange in a kit called like that)

and Vanessa: Alter Ego (but I’m pretty much sure that name is already taken)

Those girls will also receive the pack for free! Congratulations to them also!

I have some other exciting new products to be released on monday. Can’t wait to show you! If you want a sneak peak, here’s a page I made today, using some of them.

Caution: this is not what you’re used of seeing from my hand! I went totally crazy experimenting on this one, but I’m happy with the result.

To talk about the store, we will be having some big changes in the near future! I can’t spill all the beans yet, but I can tell you that we are in the progress of getting our very own FPD gallery! How funky is that?! So if you’re ever in need of some inspiration on how to use one of our products, that’ll be the place to be!

And have you seen the new FPD blog yet? There’s a fun challenge going on and you get one of Kylie’s awesome fonts for free if you participate! There will be a new challenge every week, and I’m proud to say that it are our very own CT girls hosting it!

And finally - FINALLY- we are having great summer weather over here! I was almost getting desperate. Not sure if it’ll last long, but tomorrow we hit off to the coast. We are taking the train because I’m sure ALOT of other people will have the same plan and the traffic will be desastrous. This will all be a part of the adventure for Roxanne, she loves sitting on the train. :) I will probably not be taking photo’s because the sand will ruin my camera (it happened to me before, killed my first lens with plain, ordinary SAND).

Oh, man, I hate the idea of not having any summery, beachy pictures (look at my lo, it has a winter photo on it! See how much I’m in need of new pics?!), so maybe I will buy a disposable camera. Yep, that’s what I will do! ;-)

Name this paperpack

Friday, August 3rd, 2007

I just finished another paperpack, and this time I have no clue how to name it. Usually the name for my kits just pop in my head the minute it’s finished, but this time, well, it didn’t. :)

So I decided to do a little contest. Let me know how you would name it, and the person who gives the name I like best will get this paperpack for free.

You have time until saturday evening European time (we’re 6 to 9 hours ahead of American time!) and then I will be announcing the winner.

Good luck!

I finally managed to do another page yesterday. I’ve had these yummie goodies on my HD for a while, but never had any time to use them! With Roxanne being away at my father’s, I could afford to stay up a little longer and SCRAP! Yihaa :)

I also promised you the preview of our August collab kit at The Playground. I so love the colors in this kit!

I hope to do a page with it too, maybe tonight.

Roxanne arrived a couple of hours ago. She is a little sunburned, but she looks like she had a terrific time. I even have the impression that her language improved from playing with her 1.5 yrs older nephew. She also learned some phrases that I’d rather not hear out of her mouth, like ‘I’m gonna kill the doll’ and ‘where is my shooting gun?’ GRRR. That’s what you get when you let them play with boys for 4 days, lol!

I was a little embarrased when my father and his wife brought her home, they were a couple of hours too early and I didn’t have time to clean the house before they arrived. It looked like a warfield in here! I must confess, I could have made some time, but being the computer addict that I am and having no child around me… Well I spent the whole day behind the computer. Duh.

Well, cleaning plans are made for tomorrow. It won’t run away. :)
