My first self-made banner!
I’ve been on the waiting list for advertisment space at DST for quite some time now. This week, I got a very exciting email from Shannon, starting next January I am game!
I thought this was a good time to finally learn how to make my own commercial banners. After a couple of trials, this is what I came up with:

What do you think? I personally like it, hehe. I used stuff from my 2 favorite kits: Freckles & Giggles and Frogs & Sticks. It was actually quite fun to make and I might even give it another try before I send it in!
So how far are you in your Christmas preparations?! I finally started to realize I need to get my but in gear, lol. It’s our turn this year to invite the family over for Christmas eve and there’s still a lot that needs to be done. I’ve already decided on my main course, but I still need ideas for appetizers, first course and dessert. Our Christmas tree is up, but I’d like to have some additional decoration. And then there are a couple of very essential things I need to buy like CHAIRS! When we moved we got rid of our old chairs and table. We bought a new table at IKEA and also made a choice for chairs, but they weren’t on stock. So far we’ve been using kitchen chairs in our living room, but that won’t do for all the guests!
My cards are ready and ordered, but I still haven’t received them and that is making me nervous. I hope I will receive them in time!
Oh, and I got the SWEETEST Christmas present EVER yesterday!! Vicki Stegall, store owner at Oscraps, has sent me a package, all the way from the USA, with two scented, home made lip balm tubes!!!! I’d never expected she’d go through so much trouble to get that to us!!! Vicki, you’re the sweetest!!!! The scents are Cappucino and Asian Pear and they smell delicious!! That really made my day yesterday
I hope you all have wonderful Christmas holidays!
